Studio Archarrette is a multidisciplinary practice working across architecture, urban design, interiors and research. From individual buildings to district-scale frameworks, the studio connects design intent with the systems, people and processes that shape the built environment.

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Chaarvi Mathur
Architect · Urban Designer · Educator
Chaarvi Mathur is an architect and urban designer working internationally across architecture, urbanism and research. As Founder and Principal of Studio Archarrette, her work moves between the scale of buildings and the larger systems that shape cities — from design and project delivery to public realm, infrastructure and development frameworks.
Her urban work explores the relationship between policy and urban form, with particular interests in public–private models of development, accessible public space, housing, infrastructure and equitable urban transformation. Her research has examined privately owned public spaces and the role of design and governance in expanding civic space through private development.
Alongside practice, she has taught architecture and urban design for over a decade. She holds a Master of Science in Advanced Urban Design from Cornell University, a Master’s degree in Urban Design from Mumbai, and is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture, India.
